Reflect...

"Do not rush things ! Await the moment of Divine Providence... we are in His hands, let Him do as He wishes !

Courage, confidence ;  never let yourself be overcome by adversity.  Remain calm, trusting in God’s love for you.

 When it is truly for God that we are working, He doubles our strength according to our needs.

One is never unhappy when one is doing the Holy Will of God.

Providence has its moments.  Happy are those who know how to recognize them and not resist its inspirations.

My God, how happy we are when we are patient ; nothing upsets us.

Whatever disturbs us does not come from God.  He only communicates in peace. This is my compass, and it never fails me.

I have the happiness of belonging to the Church in the depths of my heart and if the Congregation of St. Joseph should withdraw one iota from the rules of the Church, I would prefer that it should be annihilated.

When we trust God we are able to sleep in peace.  Have confidence and do not torment yourself.  God is there. 

Do you wonder if I always sleep peacefully ?  Yes, confidence in God is my strength.

Pray, oh let us pray much that God’s Spirit will enlighten us and direct us according to His Holy Will.

Be always cheerful and courageous, place all your confidence in God ;  He will be your light and your strength ;  count on Him and nothing will be lacking to you."

O Blessed Anne Marie,

you always found light and strength in the Heart of Christ,

teach us to live in constant communion with Him

so as to do the Father’s Will without reserve.

Guide along the way of love which is marked by poverty,

detachment, and availability.

Help us to reveal to our brothers and sisters

the presence and the love of God,

for the glory of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,

O Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey

whose heart beat only for God and for souls,

teach us to love as you loved,

to pray as you prayed,

to suffer and to pardon,

to give ourselves as you did.

Obtain for us a heart like yours, loving intensely God’s Holy Will,

believing in His love in everything,

a heart strong and kind, ardent and pure,

loyal and faithful, humble and confiding,

a heart ready for every sacrifice,

a heart like to the hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Amen.
